I got into Black and White film photography because of a hands-on art class and decided to apply for the $1,000 Awesome Gloucester Grant. My project is to take pictures of the working Gloucester waterfront and then display them downtown on a storefront for people to see the true working-class grit and beauty of the Gloucester fisherman. After not getting it on the first attempt, I got it on the second, and the pictures will be displayed on banners outside Oak and Ember Restaurant in Gloucester!
